Rare german works on optics & astronomy, first published in 1641
and in 1634 [?] with added manuscripts. This is the second edition of
the optical work, and there seems to be a third edition, published in
Wittenberg in 1691 [not in VD17, a ghost ?]. I have found only one
other copy of this second edition worldwide: at Göttingen University
also with mss. annotations. The chapters are: De radio optico recto;
De catoptrica; de anaclastica. VD17 7: 692653W [this ed.]; KVK:
only Göttingen [also a copy with annotations]; no copy in COPAC or
OCLC [only Huntington Library has a 1641 ed.] II.) This is probably
a reprint of an earlier work [VD17 7:658742A]. I could not locate
another copy with same imprint. Beside this two very rare printed
treatises for the usage in lectures, there are three manuscripts bound
in. The printed works are annotated with comprehensive commentary
and addenda on bound-in sheets.- Nicht bei Houzeau / Lanc.
